Liquid Oxygen (LOX)

Overview

Liquid oxygen is oxygen cooled to about −183 °C, where it becomes a pale blue liquid. Storing oxygen as a liquid holds far more gas in the same space, so high-volume users receive bulk deliveries into an on-site tank and vaporize it into gas as needed.
